Bovilis IBR
A live Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) vaccine for cattle, to reduce clinical signs and virus excretion associated with bovine herpesvirus type-1.
Presented as lyophilisate and solvent for suspension. Lyophilisate is an off-white to light pink-coloured pellet and the solvent is a colourless solution.
Bovilis IBR Active ingredients
Each dose of 2 ml reconstituted vaccine contains: Live bovine herpesvirus type 1 (BHV-1), strain GK/D (gE¯ )*: 105.7 – 107.3 TCID50**
* gE¯: glycoprotein E negative
** TCID50Â : Tissue Culture Infective Dose 50 %

Bovilis IBR Indications for use
For active immunisation of cattle to reduce the intensity and duration of clinical respiratory signs induced by an infection with BHV-1 as well as to reduce the nasal excretion of the field virus.
Safety and efficacy data are available which demonstrate that re-vaccination -in cattle from 15 months of age onwards (i.e. those that have previously been vaccinated separately with Bovilis BVD and Bovilis IBR Marker Live) – this vaccine can be mixed and administered with Bovilis BVD.
Safety and efficacy data -in cattle from 3 weeks of age onwards- are available which demonstrate that this vaccine can be administered on the same day but not mixed with Bovilis Bovipast RSP.
Bovilis IBR Product Description

Bovilis IBR Dosage & Administration
Dosage: a single dose of 2 ml reconstituted vaccine per animal.
For intranasal or intramuscular administration.
Bovilis IBR Withdrawals
Meat/Milk: Zero days.
Available in 5 Dose, 10 Dose, 25 Dose and 50 Dose
