Rumenil

Rumenil 34 mg/ml Oral Suspension for Cattle 5L

Rumenil 34 mg/ml Oral Suspension is an anthelmintic treatment primarily used in cattle for controlling and treating gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematode infestations (parasitic worms) as well as certain types of liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica) infections. The active ingredient in Rumenil is albendazole, a broad-spectrum anthelmintic.

Here are the benefits of using Rumenil in cattle:

1. Broad-spectrum efficacy:
  • Albendazole is effective against a wide range of internal parasites, including both adult and larval stages of gastrointestinal nematodes (roundworms) and lungworms.
2. Control of liver fluke:
  • It is highly effective against adult stages of liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica), helping prevent liver damage, production loss, and overall health decline in infected cattle.
3. Improved animal health and productivity:
  • By eliminating internal parasites, Rumenil helps improve weight gain, feed efficiency, and milk production, and reduces diarrhea and other health issues caused by parasitic infections.
4. Convenient oral suspension formulation:
  • The liquid suspension form allows for easy administration to cattle, especially in larger herds. The 5L volume is ideal for farms with multiple animals.
5. Cost-effective deworming:
  • It offers a relatively cost-effective solution to managing parasitic infestations, reducing the economic impact of parasites on cattle farming.
6. Compliance with withdrawal periods:
  • Like many veterinary products, Rumenil has a defined withdrawal period for meat and milk, ensuring that treated animals can safely return to production without risking residues in food products. This helps maintain compliance with food safety regulations.

In summary, Rumenil 34 mg/ml Oral Suspension provides effective control of a wide range of parasites in cattle, helping to maintain their overall health and productivity.
