Ram Fertility
Pre-breeding clinical exams and ram fertility testing can show up sub-fertile or infertile rams before they cause you a problem.
Ewe Mineral Profiling
By blood sampling and mineral profiling batches of dry ewes we can pickup on nutritional imbalances and supplement the ewes before lambing starts. This should be done approx. six weeks before lambing.
Fluke and Worm Management
From the start of the grazing season we can perform faecal worm and fluke egg counts to show levels of infection. We can also blood sample from mid summer onwards which shows exposure to fluke, therefore letting us know when to start treating for it. We also give advice on worm or fluke dosing protocols.
Lameness
Lameness is one of the biggest costs to sheep flocks alongside causing sheep huge amounts of pain and distress. We can give advice on the best way to reduce and treat conditions causing lameness.
