Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Large Animal Veterinarian to join our veterinary practice. As a Large Animal Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to various large animal species, including but not limited to horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and other farm animals. Your expertise and dedication will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of these animals, as well as supporting their owners and caretakers.

We are a 100% Farm Animal Practice in County Antrim Northern Ireland 20 minutes from Belfast City Centre and 10 mins from Belfast International Airport.
Farm Vet Services (Independent Practice)
We are a friendly close-knit team with a strong focus on peer support and professional clinical standards.
The workload consists of emergencies, fertility scanning (latest easy scan go scanners), bull fertility testing (Pulsator V), calf mortality/morbidity investigations, on-farms PMs, bovine embryo flushing and transfer, TB testing and heifer teat sealing.
Clinicians are encouraged to develop their abilities and experience in any area they find particularly interesting.
On-call rota is 1 in 4 with a generous holiday allowance.
The wage package is heavily tailored to the wants and needs of the applicant. A package based heavily on a shorter work week and more flexible hours is possible. Similarly, a package with a greater potential to earn a higher wage is also possible.
In the past, our employees have enjoyed the opportunity to spend their summers working in a New Zealand LA practice during their spring!
The employees of practice will also get the use of a Ravenhill Ulster rugby Season ticket.
There is a two CPD allowance and professional fees are paid by the practice.
A fully kitted van and accommodation is also available.
